A Quick Recap Of The World Cup 2022 Qatar

Before we discuss the final world cup match, let’s take the time to talk about what’s been happening so far. As you all know, Morocco and Croatia recently had their second duel this world cup to determine the third-position winner this year. And we must admit, it was one of the most thrilling matches we’ve seen. Read the highlights below.

Morocco Vs. Croatia

This year’s third-position playoff proved that coming third place and winning bronze is just as important as getting the gold. Morocco and Croatia fought tooth and nail to secure this position, and Croatia ultimately emerged as the victor. This is the third time Croatia has won the third position and the second one in a row.

Two Goals Within 10 Minutes!

The match started on an intense note and was definitely not the sleeper people expected it to be. In fact, football fans witnessed two amazing goals within the first 10 minutes. This is a rare occurrence in football history, let alone in such a prestigious tournament as the World Cup.

Croatia was the first to strike, with Josko Gvardiol scoring in the 7th minute. They received a free kick and made the best out of it, with Ivan Perisic guiding the ball to the right person at the right time. The 33-year-old Croatian mid-fielder saw an opportunity and passed the ball to Josko Gvardiol.

Gvardiol took the pass beautifully and rammed an amazing header, shooting the ball straight past the Moroccon goalkeeper. The crowd was shocked and began to cheer in massive volume as the referee blew the whistle, confirming what was on everyone’s mind. That’s right, Croatia had just scored a goal within merely 7 minutes of the match; what an incredible way to start.

However, Morocco didn’t take this attack lying down; in fact, they beautifully evened the score just two minutes later. The team knew they had to undo the damage and went to work straight away.

Morocco gets a free kick, and Ziyech is the man to do it. He shoots it high, and the ball finds its way to Dari, who positioned himself in the right place at the crucial moment. Achraf Dari hits a smooth header, sending the ball past the goalkeeper and securing a goal for Morocco. What an equalizer!

Croatia Reinforces Their Lead

The most intense moment of the match came shortly before the half-time mark. The Croatians were on the attack but failed to get past the tight Moroccon defense. However, in a quick moment of wit, Mislav Orsic gets the ball from his teammate and scores beautifully from the edge.

It’s confusing at first, as the ball hits the crossbar, but we see it go inside the net moments later. It’s pandemonium in the stadium as the crowd celebrates Croatia’s second goal of the night.

Morocco had done well to equalize but could not keep their defense steady enough to protect the score. And after Orsic’s goal, they try hard to get another equalizer in, but the Croatians are already alert by this point. All Moroccon attempts were defended against, as Croatia maintained the lead throughout the second half, ultimately winning the match.

This is the second straight bronze victory for Croatia and the third one in the history of the world cup. They have proven to the world that they take an important position in football, and one day, they will no doubt be the victors and bring home the world cup gold.

Argentina Vs. France: World Cup Finals

Argentina performed impeccably in their previous match against Croatia, and fans hope to see them repeat it in this upcoming match. As we all know, this is Messi’s final run in the World Cup, and that’s got to count for something. It is the inspiration behind the team’s willpower, and it will hopefully see them through to victory in this upcoming match.

Meanwhile, France is not to be underestimated, as they won a superb victory over Morocco in the last match. The French scored two goals against their Moroccan counterparts, who failed to equalize, ultimately losing the bout.

Theo Hernández was the first to score on France’s behalf, as he put one in within the first 5 minutes, one of the quickest goals we’ve seen. Then came Randal Kolo Muani in the 79th minute, beautifully reinforcing the lead and securing a guaranteed win for the team.

France has been one of the dominant teams this year, having dealt with the likes of Poland and the Three Lions team of England. Can they do the same against Argentina, or will South American tenacity secure the victory for Messi’s team? Whatever the results, we know it will be an action-packed match, and we are thrilled to witness it.
