Las Vegas raiders vs Kansas City Chiefs

The Kansas City Chiefs have had an outstanding season, whereas it hasn’t been all rosy for the Las Vegas Raiders. There has been unrest in the Raiders camp over the team’s poor performances this season.

However, the Raiders are the best non-playoff team the Chiefs could face before the playoffs. So, it is poised to be an exciting game on Saturday between the Chiefs and the Raiders.

Las Vegas Raiders

The Las Vegas Raiders have lost 10 games this season and won only 6, putting them in third in the American Football Conference. Their last game was against the San Francisco 49ers, which went to overtime.

In the end, the San Francisco 49ers clinched the victory in overtime with a difference of 3 points. The Las Vegas Riders have been unlucky this season with such similar performances.

The first quarter went to the Last Vegas Raiders, who led the game 10-7 when they went into the break. The second quarter was evenly contested, with both teams scoring 7 points each. When the second quarter ended, the score was 17-14 in favor of the Las Vegas Raiders.

The third quarter had similar plays, with both teams scoring another 7 points each. The fourth quarter saw a very spirited contest from both sets of players, but the San Francisco 49ers just had a little more to give.

Jarrett Stidham

The 49ers scored 13 points in the fourth quarter and the Raiders managed to score 10 points. This leveled the game at 34 points each, and the game was dragged on to overtime.

San Francisco’s Tashaun Gibson made an intelligent interception on one of Jarrett Stidham’s passes and returned it 56 yards to Robbie Gould, who made a 23-yard field goal during overtime. This gave San Francisco the edge over the Raiders and, they took home the win with a 37-34 scoreline.

Though the Raiders lost, football fans could see the team’s potential in specific parts of the game. The Raiders have been looking for a top-level quarterback and haven’t been successful in that area. However, the game against San Francisco proved to be a turning point, as Vegas’ very own Jarrett Stidham showed the fans what he could bring to the team.

Jarrett Stidham – Rising Star

Jarrett Stidham showed the Raiders what he could bring to the table in the game against the San Francisco 49ers. Though they lost, Stidham was one of the shining stars on the team.

Stidham threw 365 yards, had three touchdowns, and made two interceptions. The Raiders have been searching for a franchise quarterback for almost 8 years and have yet to be successful, but they must be having second thoughts, as Stidham played a solid game against the 49ers.

In their debut game, Stidham became only the second quarterback to score three touchdowns in Raiders’ history. It wasn’t only the touchdowns; Jarrett Stidham also added 34 yards on the ground.

Stidham impressed football fans, as he fearlessly had a go against one of the league’s best defenses. He cut open San Francisco’s defenses, with 21, 24, and 45-yard passes that led to touchdowns.

Stidham was the Las Vegas player who helped force overtime. However, he could not do it all by himself during overtime, as the Raiders lost against the 49ers by 3 points.

Though Jarrett Stidham could not top off his impressive debut with a win, he caught the eyes of thousands of onlookers and is likely to have a bright future.

Kansas City Chiefs

The Kansas City Chiefs are at the top of the table in the American Football Conference West, with 13 wins and 3 losses. They have established dominance in the AFC West this season, with only the Chargers winning 10 games and sitting in second place.

Kansas City Chiefs

Their last game was against the Denver Broncos, winning the game with a three-point difference. The first quarter started with total domination from the Chiefs, scoring 6 points and making a fair game of the Broncos. The Denver Broncos could not add even a point on the board in the first quarter.

The Broncos returned with a better response in the second quarter and scored 10 points against the Chiefs’ 7. By the end of the half, Kansas was leading Denver by 3 points.

The Broncos surprised the Kansas City Chiefs in the third quarter by limiting them to zero points. The Denver Broncos scored 7 points to take the lead, setting the score at 17-13 in favor of Denver. This came as a surprise for the Kansas City Chiefs, who boasted one of the best defenses in the league.

However, the fourth quarter saw a change in the Kansas camp, as they battled hard to score 14 points against Denver’s 7 points. The final scoreline was set at 27-24 as the Kansas City Chiefs rolled away with another convincing victory.

Patrick Mahomes

Patrick Mahomes is one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL and is undoubtedly a mainstay in the Kansas City Chiefs camp. He is only 24 years old but has already become the third player in NFL history with multiple 5k passing seasons.

He is the first in the league with 5,048 passing yards and 40 passing touchdowns. He also has 329 rushing yards to his name and is 34th in league with 4 rushing touchdowns.

He had a good game against the Denver Broncos but did not hit his peak due to pain in his knee. However, if the Chiefs are to win the playoffs, Patrick Mahomes must stay fit and healthy till the last game.
