Another excellent round for Franklin as he pushes his opponent further back. Whyte delivers a strong left hook, but Franklin takes it well. He pounces on Whyte with several blows and a solid right hand as Whyte nearly stumbles.

Whyte turns things around in the tenth round as he switches to his jabs. Franklin is smart enough to counter them and land a few of his own. But it was Whyte’s right hand near the end of the round that startled Franklin, catching the judges’ attention.

The Final Two Rounds

We knew the fight was going all the way through as round eleven began. Both contenders looked exhausted. There was no hint about who would emerge victorious.

Round eleven started with nothing new. But it got better towards the end as Whyte caught Franklin with a right uppercut. The two exchanged hits, but neither one landed a major blow.

The match appeared to be going into the judge’s verdict as the twelfth and final round began. Franklin starts well with several combos. But Whyte counters and lands a couple of right jabs that rock Franklin.

Whyte pushed forward and sent his opponent to the ropes with right jabs and a big left hook. Whyte tries to land the final blow, but the bell rings. Franklin barely survives, and we wait for the judge’s verdict.
